Are HomeX Outdoor Blinds completely waterproof?
Our blinds are designed to be highly water-resistant and effectively block wind-driven rain. While they keep your deck or patio significantly drier, they are not a 100% airtight seal. They are ideal for creating a sheltered environment during light to moderate rain.

What is the "Openness Factor" and how do I choose?
Openness refers to the weave density.
5% Openness: Our most popular choice. It blocks 95% of UV rays and provides excellent privacy while still allowing you to see the view outside.
1% or 0% (Blackout): Ideal for total privacy and maximum sun block.
10%+ Openness: Provides better airflow and a clearer view, but less privacy.

Yes. We offer both Manual (Crank) and Motorised options. Our motorised systems can be controlled via remote or integrated into smart home systems, allowing you to adjust your shade at the touch of a button.

How do these blinds perform in high winds?
Our track-guided systems (Ziptrak style) are designed to stay secure in the tracks even in breezy conditions. However, like any fabric structure, they act as a sail. We recommend retracting them during gale-force winds to protect the longevity of the system.

HomeX blinds are versatile and can be installed as a Face Mount (on the front of posts) or a Recess Mount (inside the opening). They are suitable for pergolas, timber decks, and concrete balconies.
